Right Care, Right Here

About Us

Capitol Medical Center, Inc. (CMCI) has been a beacon of medical excellence in the Philippines for more than five decades. Established on March 19, 1970, CMCI today is a leading private hospital with a 200-bed capacity and a comprehensive suite of healthcare and wellness solutions.

Through the years, it has brought together some of the most talented medical professionals from all over the world.

CMCI has the distinction of being home to the Philippines’ first successful kidney transplant in the 1970s, performed just five months after it opened its doors to the public. Since then, it has successfully helped raise the bar in healthcare in the country. It continues to make a difference in the life of the people through the delivery of accessible care and compassion.

Accredited as a Center for Excellence by the Philippine Health Insurance Corp (PHIC), CMCI strives to make a difference in the lives of patients and the community through consistently adhering to the “Right Care, Right Here” philosophy of service — its unique brand of service transcending from the 1970s to the present.

Who We Are

Capitol Medical Center, Inc. was founded by Dr. Thelma Navarrete-Clemente, Mr. Luis C. Clemente, and their contemporaries in the medical profession. The center was built and inaugurated on March 19, 1970, three years after the corporation was first organized in March 1967. Today we are a premiere medical institution aiming for the total care of the individual, with rapid expansion and development over the years.

CMCI offers a wide array of inpatient and outpatient health care services. We continue to make a healthy difference in the life of Filipinos through exceptional care and a heart for service that has made our brand stand the test of time.
