Diabetic Foot & Wound Center

The Diabetic Foot and Hyperbaric Center for Wound Healing of Capitol Medical Center is a state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary center that offers a comprehensive advance treatment for chronic non-healing wounds. The team is composed of dedicated, compassionate, experienced physicians and nurses with the expertise to understand and treat varied circumstances and challenges of complex wounds.

The goal of the Center is to heal chronic wounds, as well as preserve limbs and prevent wound recurrence. It provides the finest treatment possible while improving the comfort and quality of life of the patient. By recognizing patients “at risk” of developing diabetic foot early, the Center is able to adopt measures to minimize and prevent lower limb amputations and early treatment of pressure injury.
